Van has been playing keys for over a third of a century. He has been trained in classical piano with Bach as his closest influence. In his youth he realized that girls really dug musicians in bands and used that as his motivation to get serious with music. He's played in many types of bands ranging from old school blues to Motown. His travels has allowed him to play venues from Pennsylvania to the shore's of Jersey and beyond. Van has done his stint as a studio musician and has a few albums to his credit. Van moved to Washington in Y2K and has set up a permanent camp. Before joining DIRTY OLD MAN, van was playing keys for the Pink Floyd tribute band, Blind Floyd. Van brings DIRTY OLD MAN his quality keyboard playing abilities to the shows and his enthusiasm in being a DIRTY OLD MAN, in character and as a band member. Come out and see for yourself!
