"WIN THE BAND" - OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES & DETAILS

 

Want to impress your family, friends or even your place of employment? Here is you chance to do just that! Enter the DIRTY OLD MAN "WIN THE BAND" contest and if you are a winner you'll be the talk of the town. DIRTY OLD MAN is looking for a party to play but not just any party. The party DIRTY OLD MAN wants to play has to be the BIGGEST, BADDEST and the MOST OUTRAGEOUS party of the year. In the form of an essay, simply tell DIRTY OLD MAN your engineered plans of the BIGGEST, BADDEST MOST OUTRAGEOUS party you will be throwing, attend as many DIRTY OLD MAN shows before the contest deadline and the band will decide if your party will get DIRTY OLD MAN to play the party for free*.

Contest Rules

  1. You must be 21 years of age or older to enter.
  2. Contest deadline: August 30, 2010
  3. Essay must be legible and you must tell the band why you think you will have the biggest, baddest most outrageous party and all the logistics of the party. You can submit it to one of the band members at a show, email it to domband@hotmail.com or post it to the band's myspace page: www.myspace.com/dirtyoldmantheband.
  4. You must sign the band's guest book each time you attend a DIRTY OLD MAN show.
  5. Your friends can sign the guest book on your behalf as long as they indicate you as the party host.
  6. Must have a legitimate and acceptable facility to hold the party.
  7. The part function must not conflict with DIRTY OLD MAN's booking schedule or band member's requested time off. Any available dates for the party must be verified and booked with the band a minimum of 30 days in advance.   8. The band cannot be held liable for any legalities or altercations that may result from the proposed party.
  9. All entries are subject to review by DIRTY OLD MAN and may be disqualified at the band's discretion.
  10. DIRTY OLD MAN reserves the right to terminate the contest without notice at any time before the contest deadline.
  11. DIRTY OLD MAN's determination of the eligibility of any participant will be final.
  12. DIRTY OLD MAN will supply the entertainment and the winner will supply the food and beverage for the band.

(*) Depending on party location the band reserves the right to charge for all and any travel expenses including lodging, if applicable.
