Katy has was bitten by the music bug back in her 5th grade year of elementary school and has since followed that bug. She has sang many different styles of music from folk music to rock. During her high school years she played bass guitar for Export, a band that was opening for Jr. Cadillac. She took a hiatus from music to raise a family. Once her children flew the coop she went right back to where she left off but now as a vocalist. She sat in with a few bands and decided she needed to find a band to settle in with. She joined Sirens and then later Sector 7G. Fortunately for DIRTY OLD MAN she became available and now she Fronts DIRTY OLD MAN.
